Discussion with Kazuhiro Soda

It is our pleasure to announce that Kazuhiro Soda, an accomplished Japanese documentary filmmaker will join us as a guest speaker on November 16th (Tue) at 8:00 a.m. in the online course Contemporary Japan: Selected Topics in History, Politics and Culture. There he will be discussing mainly his early documentaries Senkyo (2007) and Seishin (2008), dealing with elections and mental health issues respectively. He will, however, also answer more general inquiries about his life and work.

The plan is mainly to have a discussion with students, but we are also happy to welcome guests from the public. If you are interested in attending, please email our secretary Jana Peroutová (peroutova@phil.muni.cz) and if there is still space available, you will be given access details.
