Department of Japanese Studies
The Department of Japanese Studies was estabilished in September 2017 and since January 1st 2014 it is a independent department. Since 2008 we are offering a Japanese Language and Culture bachelor's programme consisiting mainly from practical language courses that are supplemented by theoretical courses on different aspects of Japanese culture such as history, society, literatury, religion, theatre, popular culture etc.
Besides from teaching activities we also conduct research in the fields of academic interest of our members. In addition to publishing our work in periodicals and attending conferences, we also engage in creating study materials.
