For prospective teaching assistants
From the fall semester 2018 a brand new program for Japanese students will be running at the Department of Japanese Studies. The Japanese Teaching Assistant program aims at students of Teaching Japanese as Foreign Language study programs at our partner universities. Our program offers a great opportunity to put theoretical knowledge of teaching Japanese into practice and to practice teaching skills under the supervision of experienced local specialists. The teaching assistants participate in Japanese language courses by supporting exercises, doing individual presentations, group activities and also by participating in the development of teaching materials. The program not only helps future teachers to gain a valuable field experience, it also provides them with an opportunity to make new friends among our students and to participate in developing the Masaryk University’s Japanese Studies program.
